Irish haute couture embroiderer Rebecca Devaney lives in Paris and has been creating embroidery for the fashion houses of Yves Saint Laurent,Chanel, Christian Dior, Valentino, amongst others. Rebecca also hasher own art practice and her work has been exhibited in group and solo shows in art galleries and embassies around the world.
With a history in art education, she taught creative embroidery for over 15 years she decided to recently launch a new project – join Rebecca for an afternoon of embroidery, tales and tea or guided tours of the traditional and celebrated haberdasheries of Paris, through the bustling streets of the celebrated Fashion District of Paris since the 19th century, Sentier.
